Paul Leo Molitor (born August 22, 1956), nicknamed "Molly" and "the Ignitor", is an American former professional baseball player and manager. During his 21-year playing career in Major League Baseball (MLB), he played for the Milwaukee Brewers (1978–1992), Toronto Blue Jays (1993–1995), and Minnesota Twins (1996–1998).
Paul Molitor was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 28th round of the 1974 MLB June Amateur Draft from Cretin HS (St. Paul, MN) and the Milwaukee Brewers in the 1st round (3rd) of the 1977 MLB June Amateur Draft from University of Minnesota (Minneapolis, MN).

In 1982, “The Ignitor” helped the Brewers to their first-ever World Series appearance, leading the league with 136 runs scored while also collecting 201 hits and batting .302. In 1987, Molitor hit safely in 39 straight games, the seventh-longest streak of all time.
