Feb 21, 2019 · So in a nutshell, the 9KT shot very well and "harder/faster" than the 9CT. The welds on the 9KT are different than the SP5K. Some (not all) are convex (bulging a bit outward) on the 9KT, and a bit concave (sunken/curved inward) on the SP5K.

The PTR 9KT model features an M-LOK compatible aluminum handguard with attached finger guard. The nitride treated 5.16" 3-lug barrel is threaded to 1/2 x 28. Both a push button and paddle magazine release are standard.
Aug 26, 2020 · I really want a 9KT ( I have a full size POF SBR) but I also wanted another gun that looked like a legit MP5K versus reverse stretch - but now I'm not sure. I don't suspect I'd be doing much suppressed shooting but like having the option and if it takes a proprietary part and months to turn around - sort of seems not so great.
