Oct 20, 2018 · Co-starring Stephanie Beacham as Jessica Van Helsing and the stunning Caroline Munro as Laura bellows, Dracula A.D. 1972 might not be one of the best Hammer films to ever be made, but it HAS TO BE one of the funkiest. I suppose this was done to connect with the youngsters at the time period.
BOTTOM LINE: "Dracula A.D. 1972" is hard to rate because, despite the mediocre-ness of the story's second half, the film is a fun experience with numerous highlights. Hence, as a Dracula story I give it a C+, but for entertainment value I give it a solid B or B+. The film runs 96 minutes and was shot in England. GRADE: B-
