The Wikipedia Corpus contains the full text of Wikipedia, and it contains 1.9 billion words in more than 4.4 million articles. But this corpus allows you to search Wikipedia in a much more powerful way than is possible with the standard interface. You can search by word, phrase, part of speech, and synonyms.
Simple Wikipedia has 180,000 pages and 90,000 images. The text version uses 200 MB and sets up in 5 minutes. With images, this expands to 2 GB and 30 minutes of downloading time. Apr 23, 2013 · If you scroll down the help page in Kiwix, you can find the download links for the different libraries and languages that Wikipedia has to offer. Alternatively, you can download the ZIM files right from Kiwix's website. I chose the English Jan-2012 version without pics, which is a hefty 9.7 GBs.
