The barbecue serves pit-style - upon entry you get in line, and eventually you reach one of two large pits that contain all the meats.

Hard Eight BBQ is 5 stars all the way. Enjoyed a great 4th of July lunch with ribs, sirloin, turkey and brisket. Sides were jalapeño sweet corn, okra, sweet potato, coleslaw and pintos with plenty of white bread. The service and atmosphere was tops as well.
