1.) I want to point out that I personally (keyword) make a distinction between a “good movie/TV Show” and a “good adaptation”. The Dark Knight is still probably the best superhero movie ever made, but I don’t know that I would necessarily call it the best “adaptation” when it comes to faithfully translating the spirit of the books to the screen
