With a capacity of just about 15 people, don’t expect much from the restaurant's interior—there’s basic counter seating and black malt tables.
May 12, 2024 · Tomo Sushi To Go is easily my favourite sushi, sashimi and tempura place in Nanaimo, BC. Their products are consistently good, fast, fresh and delicious, their portions are generous for the price and the service is professional yet friendly. Their Chicken Karaage with spicy chilli sauce is an absolute delight, as is their Yam Tempura.

Go all out with the 24k Roll made with shrimp tempura, asparagus, A5 wagyu, garlic chips ito togarashi, black caviar, ponzu sauce, and, of course, 24k gold flakes. The creative menu earned Tomo a spot in the Michelin guide in 2023.
May 16, 2024 · Best sushi you can get. Rolls are served warm, and the fish is served thick and fresh. If you want a filling roll for lunch for a decent price (anywhere between $10-15, the $15 ones being huge and super extra) I definitely suggest this place.
