The PCA Online Shared program is our signature student option. Online Shared students can enroll in up to two on-campus electives in Middle School, and up to three core or elective courses in Upper School per semester at Prestonwood Christian Academy (where space is available) and complete the remainder of their courses virtually through PCA Online.

Prestonwood was founded on February 6, 1977, in North Dallas, [2] as a mission church of Northway Baptist Church. Under founding pastor Bill Weber, [3] the new church grew considerably, and in 1979 moved into a permanent facility near the corner of Arapaho and Hillcrest Roads in Dallas. By 1988, Prestonwood had grown to 11,000 members.
Mar 25, 2021 · After outgrowing our original location in North Dallas at Hillcrest/Arapaho, Pastor Graham and church leaders prayed about the next step for Prestonwood. God led the church to 140 acres in Plano, and in May 1999, Prestonwood held its first service at our Plano Campus.
