The CBS Schoolbreak Special (originally titled the "CBS Afternoon Playhouse") was a CBS network anthology series which aired from April 19, 1980 to January 23, 1996, lasting for 13 seasons & 83 episodes. The show's concept was similar to "ABC's Afterschool Special" and centered on topics such as substance abuse, eating disorders, teenage pregnancy, medical conditions and school & family issues.
