Spades Online is a classic trick-taking card game usually played by four players in partnerships. The game uses a standard 52-card deck. The goal of the game is to accurately predict the number of tricks your partnership will take and to earn points based on those predictions. Each player is dealt 13 cards at the beginning of the game.
Spades is played with a 52-card French deck. The cards are ranked from Ace (high) to 2 (low). There is also an option to include jokers and thus making it a total of 54 game cards. When used, the two jokers are the highest-ranked cards. Typically, Spades is played by 4 people that form 2 teams.
The Deck and the Deal. Spades is played with a standard deck of 52 playing cards. For 3 to 5 players, 1 deck is used; for 6 to 8 players, 2 decks are used; and for 9 to 12 players, 3 decks are used. For 3 players, 17 cards are dealt to each player from a deck without the 2 of Diamonds. For 4 players, 13 cards are dealt to each player.
The objective of Hearts is to get as few points as possible. Each heart gives one penalty point. There is also one special card, the Queen of spades, which gives 13 penalty points. When the game starts you select 3 cards to pass to one of your opponents. Typically you want to pass your three worst cards to get rid of them.
