Neue Professorin für Internationale Wirtschaftspolitik in Göttingen ist seit dem 1. Juli 2016 Prof. Dr. Krisztina Kis-Katos. Vor ihrem Wechsel an die Wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Fakultät der Georg-August-Universität war sie akademische Rätin am Lehrstuhl für Internationale Wirtschaftspolitik an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg.

Krisztina Kis-Katos studied Economics in Szeged and Konstanz, attended the Swiss Doctoral Program at the Study Center Gerzensee, and received her PhD in Economics in May 2010 at the University of Freiburg in Germany. Currently she is professor of International Economic Policy at the Department of Economics at the University of Göttingen.
