Not LA, but where I am (CentralCal), "Christmas Tree Lane" was driving, but two nights, it was for walking. Two miles--which go by quickly and even on COLD nights, you get hot. About 100 houses decorated. But it would be crowded. Very crowded. 30-40K people each night of walking over the 2 miles, over the night. This year is driving only.
Check out Mr Jingles. We've been there the past 3 years and our trees always last through the first week of January. there's a lot across from the Target on Westgate and Santa Monica. Always get ours from Mr Greentrees which is on Jefferson just west of Duquesne in Culver City this year.
