Aug 29, 2022 · The Nasher Museum celebrated the new exhibition Roy Lichtenstein: History in the Making, 1948 — 1960 with preview and opening events on August 24 and 25, 2022. The exhibition had been more than five years in the making, a collaboration between co-curators at the Nasher Museum and the Colby College Museum of Art in Waterville, Maine.
Feb 27, 2024 · The Nasher Prize Graduate Symposium–dedicated to the work of Nkanga–will take place virtually from February 27–March 1, 2024. The multi-day event will address a broad audience of art historians and museum professionals, allowing symposium participants to receive feedback from fellow presenters, the moderator, the keynote speaker, and audience members.
About the Pavilion. The Collection Galleries feature rotating installations of the Nasher Museum’s extensive holdings of historical art. Eight galleries, as well as the entrance to Wilson Pavilion, are dedicated to the museum’s strengths, which represent a brief history of human creativity from different times and parts of the world.
