Afflicted (2013) was a very interesting Canadian found footage movie that I enjoyed greatly. I do not like found footage movies and hand held shaky cameras but Afflicted made the cut for me to recommend to viewers and friends. Derek Lee and Clif Prowse did a marvelous job making the viewers feel emotions for the main characters.

Mar 24, 2018 · The film isn’t especially gory but when the blood does flow, it flows heavily. And it has a few really nasty, icky moments reminiscent of last year’s Contracted that’ll have you squirming in your seat. What this film does is take elements of the aforementioned films and add in a few key components of its own to give it an identity of its own.
