Happy Together is a deeply dark tortuous movie written and directed by Wong Kar-wai that was mostly filmed on location in Argentina during 1995 and 96. Kar-wai wrote and re-wrote it many times and re-conceived various parts of the story repeatedly during the shooting of the movie, straining both patience and health of both cast and crew.
