Jan 11, 2011 · This excellent Masterpiece Classic series, "Downton Abby," follows an aristocratic British family and its servants in a drama set in the early 20th century. I love PBS' Masterpiece Theater and I think, along with "Pride and Prejudice," and other series based on Jane Austen's novels, this show is at the top of my list favorites.
