Pixie is not a great movie, but it is a delight to watch. Olivia Cooke carries the film with her charm. The soundtrack is folky fun, and it helps keep the road trip adventure at an uptempo pace. Pixie is very watchable. It is definitely worth a view if you are in the mood for something easy breezy.

I feel like the movie would have been better if all the characters were 16. That would have explained why the two male characters are obsessed with sex, both childishly try to impress Pixie, why Pixie thinks it’s girl boss to manipulate a creepy cashier with some sex talk & then steal some tequila from his shop.
