Sep 28, 2010 · Conway and Knotts were a brilliant team in the two hilarious "Apple Dumpling Game" movies (1975 and 1979). "The Private Eyes" isn't as laugh-out-loud funny and the pacing is too slow. But it's still an enjoyable movie, and Knott's facial expressions are always scene stealers.Happy Reader
