I really loved the slow motion shots of the blind dead riding out on their horses, very cinematic - even the horses had costumes! And I liked that they threw in the subplot about the local smugglers, kept the movie from getting flat in the middle.

The Blind Dead are, to begin with, possibly my all-time favorite movie zombies, design-wise. Tombs of the Blind Dead. This classic is now on Shudder, no evidence of the rest of the Blind Dead series yet though. Interesting runtime info, the screen says 83 minutes, but when you start the movie, it's an hour and 41. On my Blue Undeground DVD, which I hold in my hand, the US version is 83, the Spanish version is 97.
