  7. Surprisingly, "Danny Collins" is a fun, enjoyable time, even though it has moments of pure sadness. Sure, it's forgettable, predictable, and cliched, some of the writing is daft, and it's full of plot holes, but Al Pacino is great, Jennifer Garner is (shockingly) solid, as well as some of the supporting performances from Annette Bening and Christopher Plummer.
