Oct 27, 2014 · There are lots of holes and inconsistencies that make this a bit confusing and an ultimately frustrating movie (because you can see the story's potential, but it is poorly executed). The story is ultimately successfully revealed by the end, but there are just too many stupid, unbelievable, B-grade movie moaning-and-groaning spots to get through.

The Anomaly is an ambitious sci-fi action film that might at times suffer from a low budget, but still manages to thoroughly entertain. It has an intriguing premise whose mystery keeps you from thinking about how silly it all is -- in the moment, at least -- and some really good action scenes, even if the slow motion does eventually get repetitive.
