Nach der ersten Absetzung 2003 gab es schon relativ schnell viele Stimmen die eine Fortsetzung forderten. Eine Forderung die 2007 mit einer fünften Staffel in Form von vier DVD Filmen auch umgesetzt wurde. Der erste Film der vier ist "Bender's Big Score". Good News. Die Crew von Planet Express wurde doch nicht abgesetzt Ähm entlassen.
