Our House structure. Houses were introduced to TAS in 1923 to ‘create a better basis for competitive sport’. Giving each student a sense of House identity and belonging during their time as a student at TAS remains at the centre of our House structure. Day students are allocated to one of the three Day Houses; Broughton, Green or Ross.
The Armidale School Rugby Carnival is the largest junior rugby carnival held in Australia, attracting young rugby enthusiasts and their coaches, along with committed families and supporters from all over the country. The carnival caters for under 12 teams and a girls 7s Competition for 14s and 16s players.
