The purpose is to grab a powerful advantage by skipping age 2 combat and being able to field much more powerful age three units like artillery and heavier cav. There a lots of ways to accomplish the FF.

Mar 29, 2008 · The building rotator is one of the most well known and famous mods. I had originally only made it available for users with The Asian Dynasties expansion, however, there were other building rotators for standard Age of Empires III (which were incompatible with TWC or TAD).
