Under Capricorn is probably one of his most experimental films by that measure, being both a historical drama largely composed of extremely long takes. Jun 23, 2018 · Under Capricorn is certainly not Hitchcock’s best, but it’s got some good moments including a truly brilliant performance from Margaret Leighton and some really interesting long takes. Kino Lorber has done a decent job of restoring it and the extras make it a good purchase for fans.
