Some of these exhibits and experiences include: Art Smart: Express yourself through dance, music, and color. Have a dance-off on the dancefloor, build structures with colorful blocks and tiles, and interact with a musical wall mural. Big John: See Big John, the World’s Largest Triceratops fossil.
The Glazer Children’s Museum’s history dates back to the 1965 opening of Safety Village in Lowry Park and has grown over the years, just like the children we serve. Since the opening of our Downtown building in 2010, GCM has been a landmark along the beautiful Tampa Riverwalk.

Learn & Play Tampa Bay has Neighborhood Play Squads* in your area every season! Your local Neighborhood Play Squad is a group of families who will be learning and playing together in weekly Learn & Play sessions over a 10-week period.
The Children’s Board of Hillsborough County proudly presents Free Tuesdays, held on the first Tuesday of every month, with Free Museum admission for the whole family from 9:30am-5pm.

This admission is for a full day of play on all three levels of the Museum, including the Big John exhibit. If you’d like to play at GCM in the meantime, you can purchase your daily admission tickets at Guest Services upon your arrival.
