Intel stoped including coolers on their overclocking processors, AMD includes one that is not really even adequate to get the max boost speed from the processor. Intel's 80x86 CPUs and AMD's 80x86 are "mostly the same sort of", but some things are completely different (e.g. virtual machine extensions - SVM vs. VT-x) and some things (extensions) may or may not be supported. However, some things are different on different CPUs from the same manufacturer too (e.g. some Intel chips support AVX2 and some don't).
I saw a benchmark where it was a simple .Rar unzip; all the AMD chips would say they are running the new execuatables x64/sse2/etc; but their results would be directly comparable to an intel chip of the same GHZ running x86; vs a new type of executable. Alternatively you could force x86 on an Intel chip and it would have similar results...
