The ending of Birdman explained (spoilers) I've seen a lot of theories about the end of this film, with most people taking the easiest and laziest interpretation that Riggan Thompson kills himself on stage and everything after is a dying fantasy because the play turns out to be a enormous success . This is simply flat out wrong.
Throughout the movie we really only see Riggan use his powers during delusional states (hearing Birdman, day dreaming, etc.). But there are moments of clarity where he still displays these powers. Apr 25, 2020 · The events of the movie occurred in in an instant as Riggin laid dying on the beach from his suicide attempt, which ultimately was successful. That is why we see the jellyfish at the beginning and the end of movie. The whole movie occurred on the beach. This is why he flew at the end (to heaven we can assume).

I played this boss battle the other night and I was kind of thinking the same thing. Though it is not explained the official story I am going with is it was due to his suit. If you look at him during the boss battle it looks like his suit is kind of odd, not just standard military garb.
