Melissa Block started working on ATC in 1985 as an editorial assistant. She later worked as editor, director, senior producer, and then as a correspondent based in New York. She joined hosts Robert Siegel and Michelle Norris as a regular co-host in February 2003. In August, 2015 she left her hosting duties to become a special correspondent.
