Tohle se podařilo. Film staví na velmi kvalitním scénáři, kterým nám zde odkroutili Robert De Niro, Robin Williams a další. Takže o nějaké špatné herecké výkony film nemohl ani zavadit. Výborné uvěřitelné provedení a rovněž působivé poselství, které ovšem mně neřeklo nic, co bych nechápal už dříve.

Oliver was a British Neurologist, and the book is more like his memoir of all his experiences while treating patients in a catatonic state for decades.
Cast and Crew. Based on the true story of British neurologist Oliver Sacks, fictionalized as American Malcolm Sayer (portrayed by Robin Williams), who, in 1969, discovered beneficial effects of the drug L-Dopa. He administered it to catatonic patients who survived the 1917-28 epidemic of encephalitis lethargica.
