The director, Michel Gondry, did two more sort of similar bizarre-strange romance films afterwards, The Science of Sleep and Mood Indigo.I loved them both. The writing isn't as top notch as Eternal Sunshine, hard to top any screenplay from Charlie Kaufman, but very similar vibes to this film and with equally bizarre set pieces and special effects.
