Brooklyn Bridge Park is an 85-acre world-class waterfront park with rolling hills, riverfront promenades, lush gardens, and spectacular city views. Our list of amenities continues to grow as we work each day to revitalize this previously deteriorated industrial space and build a park that allows New Yorkers to rediscover the waterfront.
Brooklyn Bridge Park spans 85 acres (34 ha) of the East River waterfront in the Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo neighborhoods of Brooklyn. The park is divided into eleven sections: Piers 1 through 6; Fulton Ferry Landing; Brooklyn Bridge Plaza; Empire Fulton Ferry; Main Street; and John Street.
Enjoy views of the majestic bridge from along the waterfront or take in the beauty and splendor of this historic bridge from directly beneath, at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza. Completed in 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge was the first bridge to connect Manhattan and Brooklyn across the East River.

Spanning over 1.3 miles of Brooklyn’s waterfront, from the Columbia Heights waterfront district to the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO, this treasure of a park offers breathtaking views of Lower Manhattan’s panoramic skyline and the New York Harbor.
Find helpful information about getting to Brooklyn Bridge Park and what to do when you are here! Over 500 trees are planted on Pier 1. More than 13,000 timber piles support the piers in the Park. The monarch butterfly is one of the most frequent visitors to the Pier 6 Flower Field.
In addition to our popular Pebble Beach and nautical-themed playground, Main Street features an expanded and elevated lawn, an upgraded dog run, Main Street Terrace, and an entry plaza at Washington Street.
