Feb 11, 2007 · I had always heard that there was no LP. release for this movie title and was lead to believe for years that the only way to hear the music from THE 7TH VOYAGE OF SINBAD conducted by Bernard Herrmann (and not even in its' entirety) was to purchase the BERNARD HERRMANN-GREAT FILM MUSIC LP. released in 1974 by LONDON RECORDS in phase 4 stereo.

The music score for The 7th Voyage of Sinbad was composed by Bernard Herrmann, better known at the time for his collaboration with the director Alfred Hitchcock. Herrmann went on to write the scores for three other Harryhausen films: Mysterious Island , The 3 Worlds of Gulliver , and Jason and the Argonauts .
Presented in a jewel case with a hinged clear tray and with a twelve page booklet. Disc one is the complete score as recorded in 1958 (previously unreleased), disc two is a stereo reissue of the 1959 soundtrack LP (tracks 2-8 and 2-10 are monophonic).
