Summer School is a 1987 comedy film about a high school teacher (Mark Harmon) who is assigned to teach a group of misfits during the summer. Roger Ebert gives it a negative review and calls it a vaporfilm, a movie that leaves no impression. He compares it unfavorably to other films by the same director and writer, and says it is a waste of time and talent.
