The Masur Museum of Art is the largest visual arts museum in Northeast Louisiana. Housed in the former home of the Masur family, the museum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Our mission is to support and foster visual arts in our community through quality exhibitions, educational programs, and our permanent collection.
The Masur Museum features a permanent collection of paintings, prints and sculpture, as well as six to eight exhibitions annually of art from museums and artists nationwide. An annual national juried exhibition is also held.
The Masur Museum, the largest museum in Northeast Louisiana, presents temporary exhibitions ranging from Old Master prints to works by contemporary artists.
Two floors of artistic culture just waiting for you all to visit! They've got some classics too like Ronin and Picasso and some more modern pieces by locals and even robot art! It's located in a castle-like structure and they have cool parties every so often too. It's free to the public, well donation really.
