The Cathedral of St. Helena is stunning - outside and inside. It is a can’t miss architectural wonder in the heart of the city with spires that extend high in the sky. The stained glass, visible on the outside but fully comes to life on the inside, was made in Europe with various panels depicting biblical scenes.
Mar 4, 2023 · The Cathedral of St. Helena’s is a beautiful Roman Catholic cathedral with stunning 59 stained-glass windows, depicting scenes from both the Old and New Testaments, and stunning carved woodwork. But the most prominent feature of the cathedral is the 230-foot twin spires, which were directly inspired by the Votivkirche in Vienna.

The beautiful Cathedral of St. Helena was begun in 1908, and consecrated in 1924. Local mining magnate Thomas Cruse (1836 - 1914) provided much of the funding to build the magnificent Cathedral.
