May 20, 2003 · "Miller's Crossing" has a very fabricated production design with the stylized dialogue to match; giving it an unreal feel, a bit like the "Serenity" movie which mixed space and cowboys. Albert Finney and Jon Polito (as Johnny Caspar) are especially good as rival crime bosses.
