Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST) Admissions Residency Requirements All applicants to TJHSST must, at the time of application, live with a parent or legal guardian who resides full time in, and meets the residency requirements of, a school division that participates in TJHSST.
Admissions Process. TJHSST Admissions accepts a very limited number of students for its sophomore class (10th grade) each year. Students who wish to apply for the 2024-2025 sophomore class must submit their 9th grade high school transcript between April 1 and April 24 by 4:00 pm. While PSAT or SAT scores are optional, they are encouraged.
Class of 2026 Application Information. All students interested in applying to the junior (11th grade) class must first submit their high school transcript through first semester of 10th grade and official PSAT/SAT scores (with scores in the upper 90th percentile for each category) to the TJHSST Admissions Office for evaluation of eligibility before you can begin the application process.
