May 18, 2023 · The three affected Mackinac County campgrounds include Brevort Lake, Lake Michigan and Carp River. Soldier Lake, Monocle Lake and Bay View are in Chippewa County. Campers have had their reservations cancelled unexpectedly by the concessionaire and are now scrambling to find other campgrounds. We have contacted the USFS for additional information.
