Unfortunately for him, the director for this movie was the less than talented British director, Michael Winner. Despite this handicap, 'Appointment With Death' does prove to be a reasonably entertaining outing for the famous Belgian detective, thanks in part to the great Christie source material and a couple of outstanding performances in the cast.
