The B Line (formerly the Red Line from 1993–2020) is a fully underground 14.7 mi (23.7 km) [1] rapid transit line operating in Los Angeles, running between North Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles. It is one of six lines in the Los Angeles Metro Rail system, operated by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
Miss Brewster's Millions (1926) starring Bebe Daniels, was shot on Vine Street at Franklin Avenue, near the site that is now the Capitol Records Building. The 2000 U.S. census counted 77,818 residents in the 3.51-square-mile (9.1 km 2) Hollywood neighborhood—an average of 22,193 people per square mile (8,569 people/km 2 ), the seventh- densest neighborhood in all of Los Angeles County. In 2008 the city estimated that the population had increased to 85,489.
