Jul 22, 2023 · Man Made Monster released in 1941 (also known as Atomic Monster). While I have read mixed reviews regarding this feature film, I think every one can agree that this movie is a true classic. The special effects without a computer generated process is in itself pure genius.

For a film that runs just under an hour, the filmmakers surge the picture with a high quotient of characterization. Like other classic creatures, Chaney's McCormick is a tragic figure. A lesser Uni-horror compared with the more familiar mad, undead, and hairy heavyweights, MAN MADE MONSTER is surprisingly effective and well made.
