"Life is a Dream" by Pedro Calderon de la Barca is the best play ever written. Those two + Crime and Punishment are the only works of literature with no flaws I have read to the day. Re-read: I haven't changed my opinion the slightest bit. "The Idiot" and "Life is a Dream" are perfect, with "Crime and Punishment", and "Don Quixote" coming close.
