Late to post but you can use CXBX on the steam deck (install CXBX using litrus and wine, and the just open the game and play). The game plays flawlessly no fps drops at all, but there is one weird glitch where occasionally the screen flickers white for like a millisecond (wouldn’t notice it if you blinked).
