There was also a sequel in 1997 that was done by Matheson and stars Ally Sheedy. Pretty sure they were made for TV thriller/horror "movies". I really enjoyed both movies when I saw them on TV as a kid, and I saw they just released Buried Alive on DVD and BluRay this year (kind of bummed they didn't do a combo pack with 1 & 2 together, but oh well).
