A very funny cartoon series. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective is true to the movies and is just as funny. Now that makes this show special considering the limitations of it being directed at kids, instead of the movies being directed at adults. The writing is clever and the stories are funny. Overall, a great cartoon series.

Aug 26, 2023 · Some series ("Above Suspicion", for instance) revel too much in violence and gore. "Chelsea Detective" avoids that trap, while still remaining true to life. And to its credit, the mystery is solved by end of each episode with no cliffhangers to lead one into binging oblivion. I look forward to season (erm, "series") 2!
