Apr 30, 2019 · Although “Dragged Across Concrete” is a good movie (for those not offended by its content and violence), it’s a bit of a letdown from Zahler’s two earlier films. I attribute that to an excess of ambition on his part (the movie premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2018).
