If so, Nebraska is only double landlocked. If lakes don't count, several other Midwestern states are equally landlocked. I think OP is referencing this map, which includes Canadian provinces, in which case Nebraska is indeed the only state/province that is triple landlocked. Yup.

That means that you have to travel through at least three states (or two states and a Canadian province) to reach an ocean. Knowing this, it might seem a little unusual that there’s an impressive naval museum here, including a warship and a submarine.

If that weren’t enough, all of the surrounding landlocked states are, themselves, separated from an ocean by at least one state or Canadian province. Nebraska is, in fact, the only triple-landlocked state in the USA.
