Joseph Campbell Butler (born September 16, 1941) [ 1] is an American drummer, singer and actor. He is best known as a member of folk-rock band the Lovin' Spoonful, where he was their drummer and later lead vocalist, the group had seven top 10 hits between 1965 and 1966. [ 2] .
