Older people prefer to get away form rennes with time and prefer to live in more 'countryside' like cities such as cesson sevigne and st Grégoire. You can still access rennes city center by public transportation, it's far away but doable in 45 minutes. Cesson sevigne and St Grégoire are really cute cities. With all the accommodations.
